About the event
Saturday 23rd March marked the seventh instalment of the increasingly popular Brides of Culture bridal exhibition, the UK’s fastest growing and most innovative event of its kind.
Brides of Culture’s event takes place twice a year, and Spring 2013’s edition was held in the luxurious 5 star Hilton Hotel in Canary Wharf. With opulent surroundings, the event housed over 45 creative wedding professionals showcasing their products and services.
Setting itself apart from other events, the exhibition also included seminars from Seyi Olusanya from award winning event planners Cedar Events, as well as a cake focused seminar from leading cake designer Elizabeth Solaru of Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium.
It was an entertainment filled day with live music from DJ MRI, and Revelations Gospel Choir, famous from being a runner up on the popular BBC One talent show, “Last Choir Standing.” There were also performances for the CK Gospel Choir and interactive games from Dis’n’Dat Entertainment.
Although officially Spring, the day was one filled with snow, rain and sleet, but despite the miserable weather, nearly 800 eager attendees walked through the door.
The exhibition’s official photographer on the day was Double Vision Photography by Ian Scanlon
